Morning Warm Up:

A very wet morning warm up session saw Team ORECA start to get over the disappointment of having their pole position cancelled out yesterday by topping the times with a 1m51.447s lap.

Jan Lammers was 2nd some 1.7 seconds adrift of the Dallara. Didier Cottaz completed just 2 laps after yesterday's excursion while both the BBR Lola and the new R&M got their first ever wet running.

The Lucchini's showed that they could be force to be reckoned with in this afternoons race with Piergiuseppe Peroni quickest ahead of Fabio Mancini who survived a spin in to the gravel after bedding in his cars fresh engine.

The Simpson Engineering car failed to complete a lap as the teams persistent engine problems returned once more.
