Mike Hezemans - nr. 3 Carsport Viper : "We were quickest in all sessions and hopefully also in the race ! The gearbox is the weak point for such a long race. We've tested our sequential gearbox for 30 hours and had no problems". On the track conditions, Mike said : "There are no problems uphill and in the corners but it is terrible after the double left. I was in third gear and I was glad that the car stayed on the track".

Thierry Tassin - nr. 3 Carsport Viper : "I was very happy to be fastest this morning. I honestly did not expect to be the fastest as I am still learning the car. The Viper is easy to drive and has excellent grip in the wet."

Emanuele Naspetti - nr. 5 Rafanelli Ferrari : "We did not take part in the test here in June. Therefore, we are discovering the track with the car. We have never done a 24-hour test so far with this car and the gearbox will also be the weak point. The car is new but the team has good experience here. All the teams will have problems here - the team which solves the problems the quickest will be the winning team." Regarding his co-drivers, Naspetti said : "Eric van de Poele has so much experience that there has been no problem for him to adapt to the car. The other two drivers need more time but yesterday, in bad conditions, they performed very well."

Didier Defourny - nr. 11 Paul Belmondo Viper : "It is more difficult than last year as the conditions are different. It will certainly rain at the start tomorrow and also on Sunday morning and the cars are more difficult to drive." On team orders, Defourny said : "Obviously, there are team orders : one car will follow the leading rhythm and the two others will follow a regular rhythm."

David Terrien - nr. 62 JMB Ferrari : "I was lucky to set pole position ! You had to be on the track at the right moment with the right tyres. For the race, all the parts on the car will be changed - the gearbox, the engine, the transmission - so we took the decision not to take part in today's session. Our aim is maximum points !"

Christophe Bouchut - nr. 7 Larbre Viper : "We have not tested a lot this morning as it was not very useful in these conditions. The grip is changing continuously. It was too risky and we did not want to damage the car. Of course, I was disappointed not to improve on yesterday's qualifying times but anyway, it is not too important for a 24-hour race".

Stéphane Ortelli - nr. 57 Freisinger Porsche : "We were first and second in free practice. I am very happy for Porsche and Freisinger Motorsport. The team knows how to prepare for 24 hour-races. We have no real weak point : we have good tyres for the dry and the wet, and I have good co-drivers. If the conditions stay like this, we could be close to an overall podium finish".

Christophe Tinseau - nr. 58 Freisinger Porsche : "Tim Verbergt set the time in the car. He has done quite a few GT races while I am just discovering the GT3. We have based our set up on Stephane (Ortelli)'s car. During practice, we had a tyre problem and started later."

Fabio Babini - nr. 54 ART Porsche : "During the second session last night, we changed the set- up of the car, which is now much better. Today's times were set by Collini and Malcharek. In these conditions, with the set-up and the tyres, we will certainly have an advantage.”
